Typograpy

Typography

The fonts I used, I feel show what the mean in the way they look. The ‘horror’ one shows like blood splatters and is slightly jagged making it a bit creepy. The black colour makes it more affective.

The ‘machine’ typography is very big and bold. It’s also like stencil which reminds me of army, and tanks. Also missile is in another army styled font .

Using a curly typography for love because it’s pretty, and represents it quite well. A light pink colour would also help top show this more.

I'm trying to use the best font to describe what the word is saying, by think about emotions and what fits well together. I am using the research here to help me chose the best fitted typography with the conflict topic i have chosen.

Big Active

The images here are all from the website Big Active. I am using this images to help me with Conflict between Typography and Images. The artists i mainly looked at were Jody Barton, and David Foldvari. I chose these ones because i think they show conflict really well. Also i think they are quite similar to the topic i have chose to research 'September 11 Attacks'

Conflict in Images and Words

In this project I am choosing a topic to represent conflict. I will be showing it through images and words by making a final piece of a double page spread from a magazine. I will gather information on my chosen topic which will be the September 11th attacks (9-11) and also research different magazines to compare and for inspiration.
